CycleCat > The "perfect five acres!" (PFA). We fell in love with this piece of land in Canyoncito between the towns of La Cueva and Mora. The land pictured is not for sale but this is the view from the PFA land we want.
CycleCat > Looking down on the PFA from the top. This photo was taken from the top of a berm that stands between the property and the main road. It would help block noise from traffic. Between here and the rock & tree outcropping is the upper 2 acres. Beyond that is the lower 3 acres. At the base of the dark, tree-covered slope runs the Mora River.
CycleCat > A view of the PFA from the back of the property... at the river's edge. The upper 2 acres would be ideal for our personal residence, a workshop and to keep an eye on the eventual B&B property. The lower 3 acres would be the site of the B&B and a few bungalows or cabins to rent to vacationers.

CycleCat > Looking down the Mora River which is adjacent to the PFA.
CycleCat > Looking back at the slope that divides the upper 2 acres from the lower three. A small acequia or ditch follows the ridge of the slope and distributes irrigation water through the whole valley here. The rock outcropping just adds an interesting visual and textural appeal to the property.
CycleCat > The view west from the lower section of the PFA. The land is divided with 2 acres up at road level and then down a 15-foot slope to this lower 3 acres.
CycleCat > The original used to make the previous stitched picture. About 20 cattle reside in the 5-acre plot petween the PFA and the church.
CycleCat > The second half of the previous stitched photo. Note the tiny adobe church with a little white cross on top.
