CycleCat > and the bottom goes around the fairing bracket. I don't like the angle that the zip tie pulls on the upper mount, and eventually intend to construct a more permanent solution, but so far this has held for almost two years.
CycleCat > The Pelican top box is held in place by conduit clamps on the luggage rack and stainless bolts and fender washers on the inside. Rubber washers under the fender washers keeps everything water-tight. I trimmed an old mouse pad to lay in the bottom of the box to cushion whatever cargo is in there.
CycleCat > Dash rattle was reduced with two pieces of tubing, cut once lengthwise and glued to the front edge of the large dash panel.
CycleCat > Reinforced ribs below the hinges were trimmed with a Dremel tool so the box to fit more snugly against the grab rail.
